ANTARCTICA
Sven Penguin

Bon vivant

Penguins are flightless birds that divide their time between sunning themselves on the glacial landmass of Antarctica and swimming in the frigid waters that surround the continent. The emperor penguin is the only breed of penguin to spend the entire year in the cold climate of Antarctica.

Sven Penguin - an emperor penguin - takes his name from Norway, home of Roald Amundsen, the first explorer to reach the South Pole. Sven's affinity for the arts stems back to the day he strayed from the rookery and wandered into an abandoned science camp. While surfing the Internet, he discovered a Web site devoted to the opera. Sven's epiphany occurred when he saw the tuxedo-clad men at the opera wearing his own penguin attire. From that day forward, Sven became an arts aficionado. Despite living in Antarctica - a land void of people and culture - this misunderstood penguin is a gentleman of the arts!
